Hi all. How many of you actually read my posts in their entirety? I would guess it is a small percentage, and to be honest, I probably wouldn’t either. Life is too busy to sit and read a post for 20 minutes about a topic that may or may not be of interest to you.
Personally, I am a big multitasker. I prefer to consume information while doing other things, like riding my bike, cleaning my apartment, or grocery shopping. Podcasts and audiobooks make this possible. To accommodate our busy world, I will now provide voiceovers of my posts.
I have already done a voiceover for Pessimism and Credibility, which is still my most popular post to date. Here, you will have the option to either speed up or slow down my voice. I imagine most of you will have the urge to speed it up, as I am quite a slow and monotonous talker. I will leave the comments open for those of you who want to go back and listen. I would appreciate any feedback you have on my audio delivery. This is something I would like to get better at.
The plan is to go through all my previous posts first. Those will be free for you to go back and listen to. In the future, the voiceover will be provided only to paid subscribers. The subscription price for Openly Fallible is cheaper than most, at only $5 per month.
If you truly cannot afford this subscription price, you need only send me an email at openlyfallible@gmail.com, and I would be happy to provide you with the audio. Thank you all for your continued support of this newsletter. This project has been far more rewarding than I had imagined.
Thank you for reading.
